CHAWK LINES -- Week in review

The Seahawks are already snooping around pre-released free agents. Ricky Jean Francois got everyone excited, but then he signed with Scot McCloughan — the man who drafted him in San Francisco.

There are a bunch of veteran defensive linemen already available, and we agree with Danny Kelly: The Seahawks are likely to explore that market closely.

Earl Thomas had his torn labrum repaired, and Tharold Simon apparently had shoulder surgery this week as well.

Another injured Seahawk, Jordan Hill, says he is very motivated to return to the field.

King 5 rounded up a bunch of mock drafts for Seattle’s pick at No. 31, with Todd Gurley and Dorial Beckham-Green (are you kidding?!) leading the way.

NFL Network analysts previewed Seattle’s draft situation.

Marshawn Lynch apparently doesn’t like the quality of his biopic (we don’t blame him).

Pete Carroll will receive an honorary degree from USC in May, the day before he is inducted into the school’s Hall of Fame. Take that, NCAA.

The Seahawks will get a little louder in 2015, adding 1,000 seats to CenturyLink Field.

Former Seattle QB Matt Hasselbeck will suit up at age 40, returning for a 17th season to back up Andrew Luck in Indy.
