Other than Irvin’s brain cramp, Seahawks are pretty healthy

Marshawn Lynch, Kam Chancellor and Zach Miller all practiced Friday and are expected to play Sunday against the Denver Broncos, coach Pete Carroll said.

Bruce Irvin, however, will be a game-time decision. Apparently he injured his hip in practice Wednesday. (That’s on top of the brain cramp he suffered against the Chargers — i.e., late hit on Philip Rivers that helped them score a touchdown. Irvin was fined $8,200 by the NFL for the shove and is appealing.)

Lynch’s back issues flared up again last Sunday and he sat out practice Wednesday, as he often does anyway. It would have been a surprise if he couldn’t play Sunday.

Chancellor, who also was out Wednesday with an ankle injury, has practiced the past two days and is ready to go.

Miller, who sat out practice Wednesday and Thursday with an ankle problem, returned Friday and is probable. So is No. 3 tight end Cooper Helfet, who has missed the first two games with knee issue.

Carroll said running back Christine Michael and linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis “made it through the week” after missing the first two weeks with hamstring injuries.

“The rehab for both those guys worked just right and they were full speed all week,” Carroll said.

Linebacker Mike Morgan (hip) practiced Friday as well and also is probable.

It wouldn’t be a surprise to see most of the same guys on the inactive list again. Last week, Michael, Pierre-Louis and Helfet joined receiver Kevin Norwood, defensive lineman Greg Scruggs, offensive lineman Andrew McDonald and injured cornerback Tharold Simon on the list.

If Irvin can’t play, it seemingly would open a spot for Pierre-Louis or Scruggs.

Norwood seems unlikely to get into a game unless the Hawks suffer an injury at receiver. They have six active, which is actually two more than they used for most of last season.

It’s just unfortunate right now,” Carroll said Wednesday. “It kills me that we can’t get him out there playing. It’s just that we have pretty good depth at the position. He’s just battling to show his stuff and take advantage of his (opportunities). He’s done everything right. He looks great.”

Week 2: OT Andrew McDonald, Simon, Michael, Pierre-Louis, Norwood, Helfet, Scruggs
